The tuition car you will learn to drive in is a Ford Focus 1.6i Titanium, a top of the range version of this award winning car.
The Ford Focus is an excellent car to learn to drive in,
it has a 1.6i petrol engine with power assisted steering,
anti lock braking system, height adjustable steering wheel,
height adjustable driver's seat, heated front and rear windscreens, heated seats, air conditioning
and
superb vision for driving test manoeuvres.
Blind spot mirrors have also
been fitted. It also has dual
controls for everyone's
comfort and safety.
Dave's tuition car is replaced every six months.
The driving instructor Dave is in his very very late thirties and lives in Buckingham.
OK so the picture is from my 40th birthday party (and it is three years old now!), Dave is bottom right.
I have no immediate family but I have two neices and a nephew who also
live in Buckingham and I "borrow" them from time to time
(I tend to give them back when they get too cranky or smelly!).
My main hobbies are keeping fish
aquaria (I currently have a tank full of puffer fish who are very entertaining but fussy eaters) and my Sunday afternoon car, a 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS.
The Ferrari is a real classic and very flexible car.
It is happy thrashing round Silverstone race circuit at the Ferrari Owner's Club track day in driving rain as shown below.
Note this has nothing to do with learning to drive!
You can also take the roof off on a nice sunny day and enjoy open top motoring.
It has also delivered a friend's daughter to her primary school prom night.
You can find out more about this car on my
Ferrari pages.
